The Travelers
The Travelers are a recent addition to Dômus Môdé. They travel in small family groups in their wagons, some of which can be converted into stages. They perform acrobatic theater. They are shrewd traders and love fine cloth simple jewelry. They are masters of hand-to-hand combat and take great joy in turning common objects into weapons. They are phenomenal cooks. They gather once a year, most recently at the Horse Fair in Bloodvale, to exchange actors, arrange for fostering children and possible marriages.
The Travelers are “stone dancers”. This is their term for people who shape stone as a talent. They work with small stones—jewelry size. The Travelers have mostly settled in Bloodvale, as the Earl-ka is a great stone dancer and so, according to the Travelers, she must be their leader. No, they did not ask her opinion on the topic and they know enough Käläkhän law to know that she cannot throw them out, either.
