Dwarves

The Cardokh

There is one clan of dwarves in Dômus Môdé, the Cardokh. The Cardokh are superior craftsmen—ask them, they'll tell you. They also believe the work they do should command the best prices as anything less would demean the craftsmanship. They appear as mercenary to other dwarves, or so I have been told by the few non-affiliated dwarves I've met. They are honest as being any less would be poor craftsmanship. If you deal with them you will pay for what you get, but you will get what you pay for. However, always remember the old saying about them:

The swords of Cardokh cut both ways.

Driggs

Driggs was a member of the Cardokh clan, but he isn't like them except when he is. He works with water. He reaches into flowing water, pulls some out and bangs on it with a hammer, and things happen. He lives and works in Käläkhän—near the river.

Other Dwarves

There are other dwarves who occasionally wander into Dômus Môdé. They tend to be adventurous sorts.
