Furries…

Where did they come from?

There were a number of things that happened at the same time that lead to the first Furry.
• In the TV Show, the Addams Family, one could see Cousin It's legs, which I thought was just wrong!
• Flair felt-tip pens were invented [COLORS!].
• I began to notice the absurdities and peculiarities of both language and society.
The cartoons gave me a method of expressing my views while staying under the radar. Humor can hide many things.

I've been drawing them since high school—particularly when annoyed at the world. Many of them are in-jokes, funny only to those where were there—particularly those related to my military experience—but others are a bit more universal. I've included some of those, here.
